  • Unstable or Lost Web Connection.
  • Inactive Computer hosting QuickBooks (hibernation or standby)
  • Corrupt company/data file.
  • Corrupt or missing .ND files extension.
  • Access to QuickBooks files – restricted by firewall settings.
  • Data file not working or damaged data file.
  • QuickBooks installation files either inaccessible or damaged.

Steps to fix QuickBooks Error 6123:

  1. Try to setup a stable internet connection with your system that hosts software
  2. Change hardware and software configuration settings to permit QuickBooks to access data/company file.
  3. Fix damaged or missing data/company file in QuickBooks that has .ND extension.
  4. Now, go to standby or hibernation mode of system to toggle back the computer that hosts company/data file.
  5. If the error still remains in your software, close your program, restart your system and then restart your QuickBooks Database Service that hosts company file.
  6. Now, go for verification process to make sure that your QuickBooks Company file has not been corrupt or damaged.
  7. Make sure you restore QuickBooks installation file that was damaged earlier.
